Initiation & National Surprise Era
Birth and Early Surprises (2016)

Madura United FC officially began its journey in the national football scene on January 10, 2016. Initiated by Achsanul Qosasi, the club was born with a grand vision to unite all communities of Madura Island through professional football. Carrying the Laskar Sape Kerrab identity with its iconic red-and-white striped jersey, the club immediately delivered major surprises in its inaugural year. In the 2016 Torabika Soccer Championship (TSC), Madura United dominated the competition, even clinching the half-season top spot before eventually concluding the tournament in third place nationally.

Transformation & Galacticos Era
Transformation Towards a Modern Professional Club (2017 - 2022)

Following its initial success, Madura United transformed into one of the most professional clubs in Indonesia. During this period, the club was known as the "Indonesian Galacticos" due to its success in signing world-class players (Marquee Players) such as Peter Odemwingie alongside top-tier local stars. Beyond senior team achievements, the management focused on building a long-term foundation by establishing the Madura United Football Academy (MUFA) and securing its own Training Ground in Pamekasan. This signifies the club's commitment not only to chasing trophies but also to developing native Madurese youth talents.
